Invited by Living Water International, Bobby Roberts and Jim Blair traveled to Nairobi, Kenya in 2004 to help train Kenyans to drill water wells. Following this trip, two Kenyans came to Texas and trained for six weeks with the Bee Cave Drilling crews. The Kenyan drillers learned drilling techniques that allow them to drill faster and more efficiently.
In October, 2006 Mindy and Bobby Roberts returned to Kenya to assess water needs throughout the country. They found the Maasai tribe are among the people without clean drinking water. The Maasai are a nomadic tribe living in mud and dung huts. They travel all over Kenya to find grazing land for their cattle. Living conditions are harsh for these people.
